HRNZ and the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion team at the University of Auckland Business School invite you to a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to raise awareness about breast cancer.
Pink Ribbon Breakfast is Breast Cancer Foundation NZ’s annual campaign to raise vital funds for breast cancer research, patient support, education and awareness. Along with networking over breakfast and enjoying a Bingo game, you will get to participate in a storytelling workshop facilitated by Dr Barbara Myers. Storytelling is powerful in any context and can be used to create your own professional and personal possibilities.
We will be donating $15 from the ticket price to Breast Cancer Foundation. If you are unable to attend the event but would like to donate to the cause, you can do so by visiting our fundraising page at

Presenter Details
Dr Barbara Myers
Dr Barbara Myers is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at Auckland University of Technology. Barbara’s research is about work (paid and unpaid) and careers in different contexts drawing on diverse lenses e.g. (gender, life-course) and predominantly narrative methodologies and frameworks. Here she draws on story telling to support wider business and commercial strategy, incorporating history and change into the way we look at a changing world of work and how we reflect on and consider professional and personal possibilities and change. Barbara also works with hospice patients co-creating their life stories.
